Everything is essentially handmade; I didn’t use any shaping machines during the process.
The wooden cabinet is crafted from solid walnut, the stand is made of steel, and the base—giving the whole piece stability and a firm stance—is natural stone finished to the desired shade. The stand was added to the cabinet only after fourteen years; before that, the speakers hung from the ceiling so the children couldn’t reach them.
This project is about doing things in a way that perhaps no one has tried before.
